Kritantaparasur jayatyajita rajajetat'jitah (Brahmi), Samudragupta, standing facing, nimbate head left, wearing jeweled coat and dhoti, battle axe in left hand, right hand on hip; attendant standing right at left holding a standard surmounted by a crescent, samudra to right / Kritantaparasuh, Lakshmi, nimbate, seated facing on throne, resting feet on a bed of large lotus petals, pasha and coins in right hand, cornucopia cradled in left arm; tamgha in left field, dotted border. According to Kumar, the legends on this type "proclaim a warning, as well a powerful message to any of the Kings that were considering opposing the onslaught and advance of his army."
