An absolute rarity and one of the few modern key-date issues of the Hong Kong series, seen here at the very brink of a Mint State certification with uniform chocolate brown appearances. The date was produced to an original mintage of 5,000,000 coins, the vast majority of which were lost or disposed of during the turbulent years of the Second World War, leaving exceptionally few available to collectors today.
