Alfonso VI Counterstamped 600 Reis ND (1663) Fine 15 NGC, KM19.1, LMB-12. Counterstamp: Crowned 600 (XF Standard). Host coin is a Mexico Philip IV Cob 8 Reales Mo-G 1668-1677. A bold strike with a clear counterstamp on a slate-toned host. Though the host's date isn't visible, the assayer initial is clear, dating it to a latter date than the initial counterstamping, making this an interesting study piece for Brazilian type collectors.
