Carol I gold 12-1/2 Lei 1906 MS61 NGC, Brussels mint, KM36, Fr-8. A scarce Mint State representative of this one-year type with such an unusual denomination. Though the design is rather low-relief in appearance, the detail on each central motif is pleasantly crisp and intricate. A delicate layer of frost glistens atop the satiny yellow-gold surfaces.
