Dutch Colony. Willem III copper Pattern Proof Mint Error - Error Legend 2-1/2 Cents 1856 PR63 Brown NGC, KM308.2, Scholten-770 (RR). A rare copper Pattern issue that was rejected because of the error on the reverse Arabic legends. Retains residual red luster filling the gaps between the sharp motifs. Free of any major flaws or marks. The only certified example of this error type at NGC, although other specimens certified there also contain this error but are not holdered as such.
