Description

Victoria Crown 1845 MS61 NGC, KM741, S-3882. Variety with cinquefoil stops in edge lettering. A lovely early Victorian Crown, elusive and highly covetable whenever encountered in Mint State. The present example offers one of the more attractively preserved effigies this cataloger has witnessed for this type, with most of the young Queen's intricate hair-do details visible. To amplify the visual appeal, the obverse legends are teeming with residual luster. The reverse shield does admit evidence of contact, nonetheless the underlying luminosity is undeniable and highly alluring. HID09801242017 © 2023 Heritage Auctions | All Rights Reserved
