Henry VI (1st Reign, 1422-1461) Groat ND (1445-1454) MS62 PCGS, Tower mint, S-1914, N-1503. Leaf-pellet issue. While the legends are more readable on this example than what is usually the case, the strength of this issue is its central strike and the crisp rendering of Henry's facing portrait. This is the only Mint State example found at PCGS, with an inviting metallic luster that carries this charming specimen to the precipice of a Choice designation.
