Puerto Rico Tesoreria Nacional 3 Pesos 29.8.1815 Pick 5 PMG Very Fine 20 Net. Puerto Rico was a Spanish Colonies for centuries, and it finally received its first dedicated currency notes in 1812. This excellent 3 Pesos is from the second series of notes. Notice that this type was printed on thin paper, which was susceptible to damage in the tropical climate of Puerto Rico. Amazingly, this offering is in tact and presents quite nicely for its assigned grade. PMG mentions repairs and ink burns. A rare and popular early type.
