Established 1933 as an award to distinguished foreigners. Five-pointed star with ornamented arms in the angles. On the light blue-enameled medallion is a gold Aztec eagle with red-enameled serpent in its beak. Comprising the Grand Cross Badge and Star in gilt silver and light blue enamel, the badge on an approximately 1000mm wide light orange sash; breast star; miniature of the order with ribbon; lapel pin and black presentation case with the Aztec eagle printed in gold.
