Edward IV or Edward V Groat ND (1483) XF40 NGC, London mint, Halved Sun and Rose mm, S-2146A, N-1631. 2.70gm. No pellet below bust variety. A simply entrancing representative of a type that rarely comes to market with any regularity, yet seen in this very auction three times. Here gently circulated yet clearly the product of long-term storage after extensive use in commerce. One of only three straight-graded examples certified. Sold with old collector's tags. Ex.
