British India. Victoria gold Mohur 1841.-(c) MS61 PCGS, Calcutta mint, KM462.1, S&W-3.7. Type A obverse, Type I reverse. W.W. incuse on truncation, plain 4 (without serif). A promising specimen certified at the cusp of a Mint State designation, precluded from such by the trivial instances of friction to the highpoints of Victoria. The reverse faces up especially fine with ample residual luster traversing gently handled motifs.
