James II Crown 1687 MS62 NGC, KM463, S-3407, ESC-743. TERTIO edge. A highly collectible example of this brief period of mintage before the Glorious Revolution that would overthrow the monarch in 1688. The soft pewter patination is backlit with champagne luster and boasts a great deal of remnant detailing, despite the shallower engraving common for the type.
