Description

Victoria gold Sovereign 1863-SYDNEY MS61+ NGC, Sydney mint, KM4, Fr-10, Marsh-A368 (R). Not the scarcest date of early Sydney Sovereigns but not the easiest to find either, particularly when discussing about Mint State pieces with exceptional eye-appeal such as the example in hand here. Slight bag-marks can be noted dotting the obverse, otherwise this lovely representative is radiating with mint fresh luster throughout, further elevating the aesthetic caliber of the firmly struck features. At present, only four coins have been graded finer, making this conditionally scarce survivor all the more appealing to quality-minded collectors.
