BABYLONIA. Alexandrine Empire. Stamenes-Seleucus (ca. 328-311 BC). AV double-daric (18mm, 16.68 gm). NGC AU 3/5 - 3/5, edge marks. Babylon, imitating Achaemenid Empire. Persian king or hero, wearing cidaris and candys, quiver over left shoulder, in kneeling-running stance right, drapery in long curve from left knee to right ankle, right knee obscured by drapery, transverse spear in right hand, bow forward in left; ΛY-Σ across fields / Geometric-patterned punch in incuse rectangle.
