Saxe-Altenburg. Ernst I Taler 1869-B MS66 NGC, Dresden mint, KM35, Dav-814, Jaeger-113. From a low original mintage of 22,700, this astonishing Gem survivor is a veritable sight for sore eyes. Lavishly patinated surfaces that almost seamlessly transition from the most vivid petroleum blue to dramatic dusk, and onwards to bold plum tones, all while bellowing with glorious luster. Although this type occasionally shows up in lesser conditions, this elite example is comfortably sitting on the top of the graded populations. Ex.
