Description

Reuss-Schleiz. Heinrich XIV Taler 1868-A MS64+ PCGS, Berlin mint, KM77, Dav-803, Thun-288. Struck from a fairly paltry mintage of just 14,000 pieces, this impressive one-year type easily wows when seen in hand. Imbued with a champagne gloss that lights ablaze upon illumination, substantiating PCGS's conditional assessment through fields devoid of marks. Watery resplendence pervades the coin at hand, lending to an elevated visual appreciation for this type. Ex. Herbert Grün Auction 58 (November 2011, Lot 1486) From the Cape Coral Collection, Part II
