Head of female (Athena?) facing, without neck, wearing crested helmet with downturned cheek flaps; tunny fish left below / Quadripartite incuse square punch. SNG France 5, 196 (Athena?). Greenwell 30 and pl. II, 7 (Gorgon with attributes of Pallas?). A highly unusual early depiction of a facing portrait, in magnificent high-relief, on a matte flan. Extremely rare - only one example in sales archives (Numismatica Ars Classica, Auction 132, 30 May 2022, lot 292, realized 75,000 CHF).
