Interestingly, these vertical format notes were printed in Frankfurt, German States. This impressive design is highlighted by two Onagadori cockerels on the top and two facing dragons at bottom. This rare 5 Yen is seldom offered in any grade. There are only eleven graded in the PMG Population Report, and the condition of this piece is spectacular.
