China Bank of China 1000 Yuan 1942 Pick 100s S/M#C294-272 Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. While lower denominations of this iconic series (with a 1940 date) printed by The American Bank Note Company are plentiful, the higher denominations of 500 Yuan and 1000 Yuan are rare, due to the large amount of purchasing power they represented. Only eleven examples have been registered in the PMG Population Report, making this a great opportunity to obtain such a scarce Specimen.
