SELEUCID KINGDOM. Antiochus III the Great (222-187 BC). AR tetradrachm (28mm, 17.14 gm, 1h). NGC Choice XF 5/5 - 3/5. "Rose" mint, perhaps Edessa, ca. 213-187. Diademed head of Antiochus III right, hair in bangs over forehead, prognathous jaw and pinched lips, diadem ends falling straight behind; dotted border / BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ANTIOXOY, Apollo seated left on omphalus, testing arrow in right hand, left hand on grounded bow right behind; rose in outer left field, AT monogram to outer right field.
