Alexander I of Russia 10 Zlotych 1822/1-IB XF45 NGC, Warsaw mint, cf. KM-C101.1 (overdate unlisted), Bit-821 (R). It would appear all the 1822 dated coins of this type are with the overdate, regardless, with just 233 pieces struck this is a quite rare representative of the occupation era. The surfaces are patinated with hues of a thundercloud, offering appreciable visual appeal for the grade designation. Boldly struck originally, the balanced wear from handling leaves the raised features gratifyingly expressive in detail. From the GK Collection
