Charles VI (1380-1422) gold Ecu d'Or a la couronne ND (from 1389) MS63 NGC, Poitiers mint (pellet below 8th letter), Fr-291, Dup-369B. 3.92gm. 3rd emission (from 11 September 1389). +KAROLVS: DЄI: GRACIA: FRAnCORVM: RЄX (double saltire stops), crowned arms of France / + XPC' * VINCIT * XPC' * RЄGNAT * XPC * IMPЄRAT (star stops), cross fleurée, a star in the center; all within a quadrilobe with lis at points and crowns in spandrels. A satiny gold piece, fully rendered and showing plenty underlying luster.
