Description

Edward IV (2nd Reign, 1471-83) gold Angel ND (1471-1483) MS64 PCGS, Tower mint, Heraldic Cinquefoil mm, S-2091, N-1626. 5.11gm. Among the elite representatives for this truly exceptional tier of preservation, witnessed at the very cusp of a nearly unheard of Gem Mint State designation for an issue more than five centuries old. Decidedly sharp devices give way to a textured granularity almost exclusively encountered on the type. Blessed with a mellow golden patina, one cannot resist the allure of the piece at hand and is wholly deserving of ample bidder attention.
