Mexico Banco de Londres Mexico y Sud America 2 Pesos 6.11.1883 Pick S220 M251a PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45. A very rare 2 Pesos from the 1883 issue by the London Bank of Mexico and South America. This well preserved note holds the finest grade by a wide margin of the two examples registered in the PMG Population Report. This cataloger could not find any examples crossing the auction block since 2003, when Heritage Auctions sold a Fine graded for over $3,600. Vibrant inks are seen along with the classic and popular vignettes designed by the American Banknote Company. A printed signature of W.B Morrison along with a handwritten signature are present and the third party grading company mentions minor repairs. A true rarity and highly collectible note that will definitely attract a lot of interest due both to the long span of time off the market.
