This will be the second pair of uniface renditions we are offering in todays sale of this unissued type, however this selection is blue. One could speculate that the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran, subsequent exile and abdication of the Reza Shah in 1941, left these Printer's Designs redundant. Unlike most other contemporary issues, this presentation has French on both the Front and Back. A historically interesting pair of designs that would make a great addition to the best of Iranian collections.
