French Guiana Caisse Centrale de la France d'Outre-Mer 5 Nouveaux Francs on 500 Franc ND (1961) Pick 30 PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ. A stunning design used widely throughout the French Colonies but seldom seen overprinted for French Guiana. Banknotes from "Guyane", as it is known in its native tongue are rare, as local banknotes ceased after 1961. French Antilles notes followed, then the French Franc, and now the Euro. This beautiful 500 Francs is from the final series of banknotes issued specifically for French Guiana.
