An extremely popular Specimen, features the portrait of Queen Mary on the face and the transportation allegory with Mercury at center on the back. This early issue denomination features the French text of "Banque Du Canada" and "Deux Dollars." Red Specimen overprints contrasted with the blue tints provide exceptional eye appeal on this wonderful example. At the time of cataloging, this piece is tied for the highest grade in the PMG Population Report, with only four Specimen graded.
