D N VALENS-PER F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Valens right, seen from front / RESTITVTOR-REIPVBLICAE, emperor standing facing, laureate head right, labarum with cross on banner in right hand, Victory on globe in left; staurogram in left field, star ANTI in exergue.
