Cuba El Banco Espanol de la Habana 50 Pesos 1.8.188(7?) Pick 22 PMG Very Fine 20. An almost improbable banknote to find in issued format, and only the second we have offered. There are no finer graded examples in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging. Handwritten and printed inks remain excellent on this fantastic banknote. It is the catalogers interpretation that the date reads 1 Agosto 1887, based on the serial number and handwriting. Simply excellent, very rare, and an important note from this issuer.
