Octavian, as Imperator and Triumvir (43-33 BC). AR denarius (17mm, 3.76 gm, 5h). NGC Choice VF 3/5 - 3/5, brushed. Southern or central Italian mint, ca. spring-early summer 36 BC. IMP•CAESAR•DIVI•F•III•VIR•ITER•R•P•C, bare head of Octavian right, with beard / COS•ITER•ET•TER•DESIG, tetrastyle temple of Divus Julius: statue of Julius Caesar as augur standing facing within temple, veiled, lituus in right hand; DIVO•IVL on architrave, star within pediment, lighted altar outside to left.
