Geneva. Canton copper Specimen Pattern 12 Florins (Taler) 1794 SP64 Red and Brown PCGS, KM-Pn5, HMZ-2-339e. "REVOLUTIONNAIRE" in legend variety. A highly enigmatic and curious Pattern issue produced during the revolutionary period featuring strong instances of original mint red peaking through lightly patinated surfaces. Of particular note to the upper legends and central motif of the obverse, substantial tripling has occurred, lending to a dramatic and visually engaging effect. Regardless, the piece at hand remains practically pristine, a testament to the clear care and attention given to its preservation. Ex. Stuker Collection (Leu Numismatik Auction 5, October 1972, Lot 1704)
