Stralsund - Swedish Occupation. Christina Taler 1639-CS AU55 NGC, KM100, Dav-5831. With the name and titles of Ferdinand III. A sublime and scarce representative of Stralsund's Taler series, here struck under Swedish occupation after its besiegement just a decade before. Bequeathed an appreciable pewter patination across gently handled devices, the specimen at hand remains a promising relic of the 30 Years War.
