Description

Johann II Taler 1862-A MS63 PCGS, Vienna mint, KM-Y1, Dav-215, Divo-87, Thun-468. Mintage: 1,920. An instantly recognizable one-year 'Vereinstaler' that, while short-lived, must have proved so popular that the type was restruck in 1966. Quite treasured as one of the original 1,920 produced, the present specimen is tied for the finest graded at PCGS.
