Description

Charles III gold 4 Escudos 1788 M-M MS64 NGC, Madrid mint, KM418.1a, Cal-1795. The final year of issue for Charles III, with Madrid-minted specimens almost never encountered finer than AU and the majority of examples limited by extensive use in circulation. Showcasing impressive velveteen surfaces, precisely struck and abundant in cartwheel luster, this piece bears the finest grade awarded by either NGC or PCGS.
