Description

William IV gold Sovereign 1832 MS64 NGC, KM717, S-3829B, Marsh-17. Second Bust. Yet another high-grade example of a most sought-after denomination, here featuring William Wyon's modest portrait of William IV, graciously coated in a thick satin sheen, while the reverse faces up especially Prooflike, full in pondlike resplendence. Exceeding crisp, even for this advanced designation, where we so infrequently see in comparable grades, ranking among the finer examples not only for this date, but the type, only bested by ex. Millennia specimen we handled just last year.
