In fact, just over a handful of auction results can be counted from the last two decades. High-relief motifs stand strikingly bold over the semi-glossy fields, James' bust rendered to a majestic quality. The shield does not fall-short in quality, proving an intricate engraving upon also semi-reflective peripheries. Though the few wisps prevented it from a higher grade, this scarce Mint State survivor has plenty of eye-appeal in hand and is definitely a disputable piece between advanced British type collectors.
