One of the most desirable English gold Angels from an already challenging king, with Mint State survivors appearing few and far between. Struck from notoriously crude and worn dies, close inspection nonetheless suggests minimal evidence of notable friction, with some minor earthen deposits in the legends. To date, the highest graded example of this subtype we have offered.
