Charles IV gold 8 Escudos 1789 LM-IJ MS62 NGC, Lima mint, KM92, Cal-1588. A first year transitional issue bearing the bust of Charles III, cloaked in resounding brilliance and boasting a confident strike. Imperfections are kept to a minimum apart from a fairly prominent adjustment mark running across the King's chest. Tied for the only Mint State designation assigned to all three years of this type by NGC.
