Description

Charles IV gold 8 Escudos 1801 NR-JJ MS64 NGC, Nuevo Reino mint, KM62.1, Cal-1738, Restrepo-97.25. A virtual gem, cascading unbelievably glamorous surfaces with show-stopper eye-appeal. The strike is fully rendered, with a particularity bold shield. Fully lustrous, with central fields satin and glossy legends occupying the outer peripheries. The single finest certified by NGC or PCGS, besting the Eldorado specimen by six points and missing from both Eliasberg and Caballero de las Yndias collections. A piece to integrate the most discerning coin cabinets.
