Ferdinand VI gold 8 Escudos 1756 LM-JM MS61 NGC, Lima mint, KM59.1, Fr-20, Cal-771. Tied for the second-highest grade awarded to the type by either NGC or PCGS. An exacting strike, Prooflike near the legends, with amber, magenta, and cornflower blue toning. Fine adjustment marks and one notable planchet flaw on the obverse are noted here for accuracy, but do not diminish the overall appeal of the offering.
