Simon (Paleo-Hebrew) on two sides, star above façade of the Jerusalem Temple, the Ark of the Covenant seen from end in center of entrance / For the Freedom of Jerusalem (Paleo-Hebrew), lulav with etrog at left. GBC 6, 6439. GBC 5, 1411. TJC 267. Mildenberg 82. Struck on a tetradrachm of Trajan with a significant silhouette of the emperor visible within the temple, as well as part of the eagle wing and palm on the reverse. From the New England Collection Overstruck on an issue of the following type: PHOENICIA. Tyre. Trajan (AD 98-117). AR tetradrachm. Cos VI, Year 18 ca.
