George II gold 1/2 Guinea 1734 AU55 NGC, KM565.1, Fr-345, S-3681A. The first of this year issue we have offered. Only three examples have been graded across the certification companies, none achieving a Mint State designation. This formidable representative features velveteen surfaces and residual luster poking through on the devices. A flan flaw and contact marks consistent with the grade are noted here for accuracy.
