FAVSTINA-AVGVSTA, draped bust of Faustina Junior left, seen from front, hair in waves and gathered in small jeweled chignon / FECVNDITA-TI AVGVSTAE, Fecunditas seated right on ornate backless throne, feet on stool, wearing long dress, cupping her right breast with right hand, supporting with left arm a young male child turned to face her and reaching out on her lap; younger girl to left standing right and older girl at right standing left, both with outstretched right arms. RIC III (Marcus Aurelius) 682. Calicó 2055. Lovely, delicate portrait and wonderful reverse type, struck on highly lustrous flan. Rare variety with left portrait - only two examples in sales archives.
