The scarce early type with the denomination written as Half Dollar, rather than 50 Cents. Highly sought-after in high grades, the example offered showing virtually uncirculated surfaces other than the assigned rim mark. Displaying crisp motifs upon clear fields with shades of cartwheel luster, bathed in a golden-dove cabinet tone.
