Szechuan-Shensi Soviet. Soviet Controlled Provinces Dollar 1934 XF45 NGC, Szechuan-Silver Provincial mint, KM-Y513.1, cf. L&M-891, Kann-808d, Chang-CH262, WS-1343. Medium, solid stars, small circlet in lower right hemisphere of globe variety. A considerably challenging type in any designation let alone moderately handled, largely unimpacted by exchange and notably lacking any conditional qualifier that typically plagues the issue from extensive use in circulation or poor preservation. A truly wonderful example boasting laudable boldness owed to a firm strike, characteristics that almost never accompany this generally crude series, fully enhanced by a uniform pewter patination best appreciated when viewed in hand. Certainly a great rarity when located this fine and problem-free.
