Republic Yuan Shih-kai Dollar Year 8 (1919) MS64 PCGS, KM-Y329.6, L&M-76, Kann-665, WS-0180-4. Zao not connected (missing bar) variety. An uncommon variety for this already rare key-date within the series, existing virtually unsurpassed within the certified population--across all varieties, PCGS records just two MS65's out of 10,078 coins yet graded, none of which are the same variant seen here. Clearly an exceptional product produced only as the result of great die strain, we would note that several small, hairline die flaws are visible across Yuan Shih-kai's cheek and in the fields around his head, certain to serve as future pedigree-markers. Quite simply outstanding quality for what is usually a coin prone to details qualifiers, worthy of the utmost consideration by even the most scrupulous collectors. From the Glorium Collection
