An ever-popular issue from an intriguing series struck to facilitate the opium trade in French Indo-China, showcasing the iconic deer head motif. Largely brilliant, argent surfaces abound this near-Mint State stunner, a light frost lit aglow at even the most subtle turn of the wrist. While readily available in comparable conditions, the piece remains desirable and seemingly finer than the assigned grade would indicate. From the Tony Ma Collection
