Szechuan. Republic 50 Cents Year 1 (1912) MS63 PCGS, Chengdu mint, KM-Y455, L&M-367, Kann-784, WS-0782. Cross rosette variety. Extraordinarily well-preserved for this typically low-grade type, with the highest grade yet awarded by PCGS being an MS64, and a single MS65 existing at NGC. Relatively bold in all of the struck features, even fine die polish can be detected in the open fields, masked just slightly by a variegated silver tone. One of the nicest representatives we have had the privilege to offer. From the Glorium Collection
