Thieu Tri 5 Tien ND (1841-1847) MS62 PCGS, KM285, Schr-255, S&H-4.10.1.1. 19.31gm. Always a treat to encounter and one of the most popular types in Thieu Tri's coinage, depicting five bats to the obverse, and almost always witnessed in lesser tiers of certification. The piece at hand is decidedly Mint State, decorated in a pervasive argent luster serving to illuminate ochre and sienna silhouettes, while fully struck-up devices and legends boast not a trace of handling. As such, the current offering remains a highly desirable representative of a more coveted Annamese bested by just a single MS64 in PCGS's census and will demand enthusiasm commensurate with that fact.
