Hong Kong Government of Hong Kong 1 Dollar on 1000 Yen ND (1945) Pick 318 PCGS About New 53. The Japanese overprinted $1 is quite rare as it was not officially issued. This crudely made type was prepared, but a fresh batch of notes from traditional printer Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company arrived in Hong Kong in the fall of 1945. Seldom seen, very rare, and a type missing from many collections. Less than 10 of these notes have been offered in a major public auction in the past decade.
